Training available for Clinton County Business Owners

The Clinton County Board of Commissioners and the Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP) are thrilled to announce a business sales training opportunity for Clinton County business owners and entrepreneurs. This initiative was made possible through remaining funds from the Clinton County Small Business Relief Program, which LEAP has been managing on behalf of Clinton County over the past two years. This training opportunity aims to equip local Clinton County businesses with the knowledge and tools to enhance their growth and achieve success by implementing innovative revenue generation tactics.

Registration is open until Thursday, November 30 at 11:59 p.m.

The training will be led by Greg Coyne — a business consultant at Sandler by Gerry Weinberg & Associates. Greg will guide Clinton County business owners through the highly acclaimed Sandler Sales Methodology. The Sandler Sales Methodology is renowned for its proven track record of success, enabling businesses to reach new heights in terms of revenue and profitability.

There are 30 spots available for individuals who register and qualify for this free training opportunity.

“The Clinton County Board of Commissioners continues to strive to bring comprehensive and innovative assistance to our Clinton County business community so that they and we can especially succeed in a competitive business climate. We appreciate LEAP’s initiative with this program under our successful contract with LEAP,” said Bob Showers, chair of clinton county board of commissioners.

“During my regular business hours and discussions with Clinton County businesses over the past year of the Clinton County/LEAP contract for economic development services, we’ve identified a critical need for high-end training to advance local businesses, and we’re excited to fill this niche,” said Jaclyn Hutchison, tri-county development manager and clinton county business support specialist at LEAP.

To qualify for this training opportunity, participants must be residents of Clinton County or operate a business within the county’s borders. This stipulation ensures that the program directly benefits the local community, fostering economic development and long-term sustainability in the region.

This initiative not only aligns with LEAP’s mission to stimulate economic growth and development within the Lansing region but also reflects the commitment of the Clinton County Board of Commissioners to supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs across the county. By empowering local business owners with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in sales, we are collectively paving the way for more locally grown wealth and a stronger, more vibrant local economy.
