Oh, forget the quiet! Tell everyone you know! Be sure to come to the silent auction to raise funds to restore the historic 1902 wooden sleeper car, the Sault Ste. Marie. The auction will be held in the main pavilion at the St. Johns City Park, Wednesday, August 31, starting at 6:00 p.m. before the exciting performance of “Elvis” (Matt King)!; it will also take place during intermission and for 30 minutes following the performance. You do not need to be present to win, just be sure to completely fill out the bid sheet with your contact information.
This silent auction is sponsored by the Railroad Museum branch of Clinton County Arts Council (CCAC); all auction items are being donated by generous individuals and area businesses. CCAC is fortunate to receive partial funding for their regular operations through a competitive grant from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs and the National Endowment for the Arts.
