Fascinating Transitions
Consider, if you will, the effective combination of imagination, creative skill and seemingly useless pieces of metal and sundry items of scrap. Together, those ingredients identify Tim Higgins and his extraordinary collection of sculpture items crafted from discards given new time in new dimensions.
Higgins is the featured artist during the Clinton County Arts Council’s regular monthly Sunday Event occurring October 7 from 1 to 3 pm at the Council’s Gallery. Many of his works will be on display during the open house with plenty of time for discussions. Additionally, he will be available for those who may be interested in commissioning a special piece for a particular occasion.

This captivating sculpture by Tim Higgins, entitled “Moot Point,” challenges your wit and imagination while capturing your cuddly inclinations.
The sponsor for October is John Wieber, P.C. and, as usual, refreshments are served throughout the event.
The Gallery is located at 215 N. Clinton Ave. in St. Johns and information regarding these monthly events – and other Council related activities – can be obtained by calling 989 224-2329.
Activities of the Arts Council are made possible through generous sponsorships, such Mr. Wieber’s and regular membership dues and donations. These sources are supplemented by periodic grants from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs which is a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.
