Clinton County Arts Council
The Clinton County Arts Council (CCAC) in St. Johns, Michigan, seeks a dynamic and motivated leader to serve as an Executive Director to advance the mission and goals of the organization. This position works closely with, and reports to, the Chair and the Board of Directors.
The Executive Director is primary responsibilities are to develop and manage community arts programs, staff and volunteers; secure grants and other funding; increase membership; and act as an advocate for the arts throughout Clinton County.
CCAC is a non-profit organization committed to the mission to promote, encourage and support the arts, artists, and the cultural heritage of Clinton County Michigan. It accomplishes that mission through initiatives that focus on life-long arts education, programming and advocacy; and through a gallery in downtown St. Johns that supports our local artists.
Qualifications
– Excellent interpersonal communication skills
– Strong leadership abilities
– Organizational and planning skills a must
– A passion for and understanding of the arts
– Bachelor’s degree is desirable
Compensation: Full-time annual starting salary: $22,000 – $25,000
