Science Blast rescheduled

April 13
The Clinton County 4-H Science Blast that was scheduled for tonight has been postponed until April 13th due to the ice.

Are you interested in science? Not so much? Do you like to make slime? Have you ever made a fossil? Have you ever extracted DNA from frozen peas? Can you explain soil layers using graham crackers> Do you like to learn by doing and actually get involved in hands on activities/ If you said yes (or even Maybe ) to one or more of these questions, then you don’t want to miss the Clinton County 4-H Science Blast.
The Science Blast will have 20 different stations set up with activities and experiments in lots of different areas. You can explore water drainage in different soil types, learn how to check water quality, demonstrate non-Newtonian physics (make ooblek) and so much more.
This science experience will take place in Smith hall on the Clinton County Fairgrounds in St. Johns on Wednesday evening, April 13th from 6 – 8 pm. Stop in for a while or come and stay the entire time – you won’t get bored either way.
The Science Blast is sponsored by Clinton County 4-H but is open to the public and free of charge. If you have questions, feel free to contact the Clinton County MSU Extension Office at 989.224.5242 or at silm@anr.msu.edu.
The program is free, its fun, and I bet you’ll even learn something so don’t miss out – mark March 23rd on your calendar now and plan to attend the Clinton County 4-H Science Blast.
