On Saturday, May 10 there’s an event that has something for everyone in the family. The 12th Annual Chamber Springtime Community Festival will be held at the CC RESA Building (across from McDonalds and Burger King) and will run from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Kids of all ages will enjoy the Touch-a-Truck where there will be fire trucks, ambulances, police cars, the Life Net helicopter and more. The little ones will go home wearing corn in all sorts of places after playing in the corn box. And, there will also be Chalk Art, face painting, an entertainer (Tim Salisbury – juggler and magician) and free kids crafts, including lots of bands to make fun loom bracelets with.
For mom and dad there are craft vendors to visit selling everything from wood crafts to jewelry, quilts, dog blankets, hair accessories, aprons, etc., and over 20 vendors selling products like Tupperware, Pampered Chef, Mary Kay, Scentsy, etc. And, you will have the opportunity to visit with other store front businesses and non-profits like A1 Tanning, Keck Coleman Funeral Home, Meals on Wheels, Ferralls Tree Trimming and Removal and Union Bank, just to name a few.

Come around lunch time and you can purchase lunch from the Clinton County Senior Center. They will have BBQ Beef Sandwiches, Nachos and Hot dogs. They will also have a Bake Sale throughout the day.
The first 50 people arriving at 9:00 am will receive a treat bag, and an additional 50 treat bags will be given out at 1:00 pm. More than 30 prizes will be given out in a free raffle throughout the day including an XBOX and a girls and boys bike. A special drawing with a prize of over $100 in gift certificates from area businesses will take place at 3:00 pm. Every time you make a purchase from a vendor between 1:00 – 2:30 pm you will be entered into the special “must be present to win” drawing.
