Depot opening again Sunday May 6
From small model trains moving through the amazing Four-Season layout built by Jerry Banks years ago, to the full-size historic rail cars sitting outside the depot, Clinton Northern Railway Center at the St. Johns Depot will be open again on Sundays, 1 – 3 pm, from May 6 – October 28.
Join us at our opening celebration on Sunday May 6 from 1 – 3 pm.
Aspiring engineers will have wooden trains to play with and create their original track layout. Budding artists will have coloring pages of train pictures – or blank paper for their own creations. All can sport free face-painting offered by Sharon Shutes; and of course ages 2 – 92 can enjoy watching the electric model trains as they run through the large H-O layout in the east room.
All aboard for fun! We’ll be waiting. We’re anxious to see our friends from last year and welcome many new ones.
Clinton Northern Railway Center is a branch of the Clinton County Arts Council, which is proud to receive part of its funding through a competitive grant from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs and the National Endowment for the Arts.
