Larry Lockwood started at Federal-Mogul on October 21, 1976.
Larry was one of the operators on the sintering lines. Operators were responsible for setting up the line so the sanded steel strip could be uncoiled and fed through the line.
When it came out the finished end the strip had acquired a specified thickness of bonded lining.
They experimented on the sintering lines years ago with video cameras used for spotting problems. The idea was short lived.
