Heartland seeks volunteers

To Work with Hospice Patients in Clinton County
Looking for volunteer experience in healthcare? Heartland Hospice is looking for caring and dedicated people willing to help terminally ill patients and their families. Volunteers provide friendly visits, respite for the family or caregivers, meal preparation, bereavement support, and clerical services.
The gifts that volunteers offer are so varied that it allows flexibility to fit even the busiest schedule. No minimum requirements are made of your time commitment. Our free, comprehensive volunteer training is available in group settings and to fit each person’s schedule.
Our next three week group training class will be held on Saturday February 5th, 12th, and 19th from 10:00am to 2:30pm at our Mason office (865 South Cedar Street, 48854).
All volunteers must fill out an application and complete an interview before training. To register for training and begin a rewarding journey as a Heartland Hospice volunteer, please call Kim, Volunteer Coordinator at 888-670-7448, or 517-244-0404.
