National Night Out 2013 a success!
St. Johns city residents took part in our 21st annual “National Night Out” event Tuesday, August 6, 2013. The community came together, once again, to get to know their neighbors and join forces against crime. We had beautiful weather and another great turnout with over 1,500 people in attendance.
The St. Johns Police Department would like to thank the members of the St. Johns Kiwanis Club who cooked over the hot grills and St. Johns Rotary Club who ran the kids games and inflatables. Also, a special thanks to the St. Johns Lutheran Church and Rev. Dr. Bryan Salminen for allowing us to use their front lawn for this event.
Our success would not have been complete without the generosity of the following local businesses and service groups:
– Big Boy Restaurant
– McDonalds of St. Johns
– Planet X Inflatables
– Bee’s Chevrolet
– Martin Brower
– Olympian Tool
– Keck Coleman Funeral Home
– Journey Federal Credit Union
– Kroger of St. Johns
– Sound Cruise DJ
– Sharon Shutes Face Painting
– St. Johns Lions Club
– St. Johns Kiwanis Club
– St. Johns Rotary Club
– St. Johns Community Choir
– Clinton Area Ambulance Service
– St. Johns Fire Department
– St. Johns Department of Public Works
– St. Johns Parks & Recreation Department
Check out our photos and a video of the event on the St. Johns Police Department Facebook page.
