A sincere thank you to all who purchased items at our March is Reading Month Fundraiser. The final total for the month was$922.00. Monies donated will be used for DVD’s, Large Print books, Audio on CD and E-books. We appreciate your support.
Get Connected at Briggs
The library is offering another free adult computer class. Computer Basics is a two-week course that will meet on Wednesday, May 8th and Wednesday, May 15th from 9-10am. This class is designed for new computer users with little to no experience, and will cover basic computer parts and terms, correct usage of the mouse and keyboard, and tips for working with Windows 7. Registration for this program is required and began on Wednesday, April 17th for all adult patrons with a valid library card.
Mother’s Day Program
Grandmothers, Mothers and children (boys & girls) ages 3 and up are invited to attend our 2013 Mother’s Day Program. Musical entertainment will be provided by Abigail Clark. A cake decorating demonstration by Joan Sloyer of “Sugar & Spice” and a Mother’s Day craft to make will round out our evening of honoring mothers. There will be lite refreshments during the program for all to enjoy. The program takes place on Thursday, May 9th from 7 to 8 pm. Registration is required for this free program.
