Gift shop items
Thanks to many donations, the Clinton County Senior Center now has lots of yarn. They are now looking for volunteers that would make items out of the yarn that the center can sell at craft shows or in their gift shop. If you are crafty and would like to help out the Senior Center, call Darlene Terpening at 989-224-7248. She can meet you at the center and provide you with the supplies.
While the center has received a lot of yarn, they could still use material and quilt batting. If you have any cotton fabric or flannel that is just gathering dust in a box or tub, please consider donating it to the center. They have volunteers that turn the forgotten pieces of fabric into quilts, pillows and other items the center sells. You can drop off fabric at the Senior Center (located at 201 E Walker Street in St. Johns) or call Terpening for a pick up.
The Senior Center is also looking for a baker that would consider making two pies for their Monday lunch on the 3rd Monday of every month. If you would like more information about what is required, please contact Brenda Terpening at 989-224-7248.
