April 12
Who’s got talent?
St. John’s Lutherans do, that’s who.
And they’re out to prove it with an abundantly spirited, first time ever, St. John’s Lutheran’s Got Talent show set for Friday, April 12th at the Emerald Golf Course. Groups and individuals from the congregation already are honing their specialties with anticipation for impressing a select group of judges and snagging a prize confirming their particular talent.
Readying a routine for the upcoming St. John’s Lutheran’s Got Talent show takes some rehearsal time. Bruce Bishop, left, and Mark Holden push some notes around, blending sounds toward a finished product.
That flair may be found in a dance, a skit, a comedy routine, an instrumental presentation or in song. Possibly, it might not be in any of those categories; something quite original that challenges classification, but whatever it is, it will be on display come April 12.
Everyone is invited to this initial presentation of unique gifts and to see first hand that, indeed, St. John’s Lutheran’s Got Talent!
Along with the excitement of a home-spun talent exhibition, other festive activities include a hot dog and hamburger buffet with drinks, door prizes and a cash bar.
