Entertainment at the Mint Festival

image.jpgIf you like to sit back and enjoy great entertainment, or maybe you like to get up and dance to the tunes, plan to spend some time at the 2010 St. Johns Mint Festival.
During the daytime you can enjoy performances like Czech Sounds with the Stan Saylor Band, a whole lot of shaking from Steve “Elvis” Hunt, dance moves by Children’s Ballet Theatre and LA Cloggers and local talent like Bill Brown, Taylor Fernandez and a group of young adults called Hundred Fold Harvest.
The Mint Festival is excited to have some different entertainment awaiting you this year. A national company will bring seven (7) 30-minute Classic K9 Dog Shows to the weekend. You will have the chance to see agility racing, world record high jumping, Frisbee dogs and more. While the shows will be free a dog dish will be passed through the crowd should you wish to make a donation to help pay for their performances. You can get more information about them at www.classick9.com.
The festival is excited to have Steve Suvada for five performances Saturday and Sunday. Mr Suvada is a world class guitarist who has performed for the Joffrey Ballet in Chicago and has appeared with over 30 different Symphony Orchestras across the country. You can get more information about him at www.stevesuvada.com.
