Free Entertainment

A Big Part of Mint Festival Weekend, August 10 – 12
With so much to do at the Annual Mint Festival, some people forget to just bring their lawn chair and spend some leisurely time listening to and watching the free entertainment.
Things kick off on Friday, August 10 with some entertainers specifically for Senior Citizen Day.
Then Taylor Fernandez takes the stage at 5:45 pm. You may remember Taylor as the Clinton County Idol in 2009. The headline entertainment for Friday is Capital City Groove. Their performance starts at 7:00 pm at the Performance Shell in the City Park. Their group performs a wide variety of music with three lead singers.

Throughout the day on Saturday there is everything from country to dance groups, with the headline entertainment at 7:00 pm with Toppermost, Michigan’s most popular Beatles Tribute Band. Then on Sunday there is some contemporary Christian music, along with the Children’s Ballet Theatre.
