Shortage of volunteers
Clinton County Historical Society Paine-Gillam-Scott House Museum will be closed for the winter this year beginning November 25, 2013.
The PGS Museum Complex is experiencing a shortage of volunteers.
They hope this is a temporary situation, and are optimistic that in May, 2014 you will visit the museum for the unveiling of Calendar Hall and the new permanent military exhibit.
PGS receives no City, State, or Federal funding. The Clinton County Historical Society is appreciative of your support, and looks forward to continuing the preservation of Clinton County history for future generations.
All donations help pay utilities, insurance and maintenance for the complex. Community support and contributions also encourage museum staff to remain enthusiastic in their efforts.
PGS volunteers are extremely dedicated to sharing local history with all guests. The Clinton County Historical Society needs your help. Please consider volunteering your time and talents to preserve local history.
