Donna L. (Light) Williams, Janet M. Martin, Jean E. Crowley, Miggie Ann Hall
Donna L. (Light) Williams
Donna L. (Light) Williams, passed away at home, October 14, 2012, at the age of 84. Born September 20, 1928, in Greenbush Twp., Michigan. She was the daughter of John and Florence (Bailey) Ordway and lived most of her life in Clinton County. She worked as a nurse’s aide and was a member of the D.A.V.- Flat River #106 Auxiliary.
Donna was blessed with three wonderful marriages to Ralph W. Shinabery, who preceded her in death in 1975, Carl G. Light, who preceded her in death in 1991, and Glen A. Williams, who preceded her in death in 2007.
She is survived by two daughters, Betty (Richard) Kimble, of Prudenville, MI, Marie Shinabery, of Houghton Lake, three grandsons, Michael, Mathew and David Kimble, one step-son, Don (Jan) Williams, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husbands, Donna was preceded in death by her parents, step-son, Al Williams, brother, Arnold Ordway and sister, Lois Warren.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday October 19, 2012 with Chaplin Lonnie Severance officiating at the Osgood Funeral Home, 104 E. Cass St., St. Johns, MI 48879. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and Friday from 11-1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Heartland Hospice, American Cancer Society or the Neighborhood Christian Holiness Church.
The family is being served by the Osgood Funeral Homes.


Janet M. Martin
Janet M. Martin, age 69, passed away October 14, 2012, Janet was born October 29, 1942 in Lebanon Township the daughter of John and Eleanor (Thelen) Goerge. Janet worked as an Accounting Clerk for Tri-County Electric from 1981-2000, and was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fowler.
She is survived by six children, Dennis (Kris) Martin of Owosso, Alan (Amy) Martin of Fowler, Karen (Phil) Pline of Pewamo, Brenda (Steve) Wood of Pewamo, Kevin Martin of Ionia and Gary (Shelly) Martin of Westphalia; 20 grandchildren; sister, Arlene (Ray) Griffin of Ovid; brothers, Reynold Goerge of Fowler, Henry (Marcia) Goerge of St. Johns, Donald (Doris) Goerge and Gene (Agnes) Goerge of Fowler and sisters-in-law, Helen (Ted) Thelen and Clarita (Bob) Fedewa. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Brian Martin (twin of Kevin); brothers, Robert and Anthony Goerge, an infant brother and infant sister, Rita Goerge also her sister and brother-in-law, Adeline (Bill) Rademacher and sister-in-law, Rita Goerge.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10:30 A.M. Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fowler, with Fr. Dennis Howard presiding. The family will receive friends 7-9 PM Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Wednesday at the Goerge Chapel with rosaries being prayed 8 PM, Tuesday, 3 and 8 PM Wednesday. Memorials may be made to Right to Life of Michigan in Janet’s name. Arrangements by Osgood Funeral Homes.


Jean E. Crowley
Jean E. Crowley, age 90, passed away on October 13, 2012 in St. Johns, Michigan. Jean was born February 22, 1922 in Bingham Township, Michigan, the daughter of Harl and Helen (Ormes) Hunt. She was a current member of Pilgrim United Methodist Church and former member of Price United Methodist Church where she was active in many church activities. Jean married Harold Crowley August 24, 1942 and he preceded her in death on September 10, 2009.
She is survived by her many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Along with her parents and husband, Jean was preceded in death by her son, Terry Crowley, and her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Frank Pierce.
Funeral Services will be 12:00 P.M. Monday, October 15, 2012 at the Osgood Funeral Home in St. Johns, burial at South Bingham Cemetery with Pastor Kenneth Bremer officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. Sunday evening and 10 A.M. – 12 P.M. on Monday at the funeral home. Sympathy may be expressed in the form of memorial contributions to Hospice Advantage 401 Center Avenue Bay City, MI 48708. The family is being served by the Osgood Funeral Homes.


Miggie Ann Hall
Miggie Ann Hall, age 72, of St. Johns, Michigan died Monday October 8, 2012 at Sparrow Hospital, Lansing, Michigan.
Funeral Services will be held at Duplain Church of Christ St. Johns, Michigan, on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with Ministers Dan Cameron and Chuck Emmertt officiating. Burial will take place at Duplain Township Cemetery St. Johns, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 12, 2012 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Johns Chapel.
Miggie was born in Foxworth, Mississippi on September 28, 1940, the daughter of Melvin S. and Lilly BeAster (Mills) Sheldon. Miggie graduated from Saginaw High School with the class of 1958. On August 9, 1958 she married Neil Hall in Saginaw, Michigan. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed painting, crafts, and sewing. She had resided most of her life in the St. Johns area and was a member of Duplain Church of Christ, St. Johns, Michigan.
She is survived by her husband Neil Hall of St. Johns, MI, 4 sons; Dean and Diane Hall of St. Johns, MI, Scott Hall of Grand Rapids, MI, Mark and Laura Hall of Ovid, MI, Craig and Christine Hall of St. Johns, MI, 14 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Miggie was predeceased by her parents.
