Emy
Emy is a very special girl and deserves a great, loving, forever home. She likes all people once she gets to know them, and likes most other dogs.
Emy would like to be in a home with a similar breed dog that will play with her. She walks very well on a leash, but also does well off leash and really enjoys dog parks. When not with other dogs, she still likes to play fetch and chase with her owner and will “talk” when she wants to play.
She is totally house trained and crate trained, but is fine not being in a crate also. Emy is healthy except for having some epileptic seizures for which no specific cause was found. (that is fairly common in dogs). Her meds consist of a pill and a liquid medicine both taken twice a day. She is very good about taking them – I just mix them in with her food. These types of medications are not very expensive either.
Emy was so loved and taken care of by her previous owner and knows many commands and tricks. She is easily trained since she is very food motivated and also loves to work for you.
In fact her only problem is barking at and not accepting new people, but that can be worked out by having them calmly sit down and feed her treats. She has never bitten anyone, but just sounds a little scary. She has been in a home with cats, and older kids and is good with them.
This beautiful, smart, sensitive girl would make a wonderful companion for anyone who can give her the love, attention and exercise that she needs. Contact janandal@sbcglobal.net if interested in Emy.
