If comedic who dunnits whet your entertainment appetite Hometown Productions have added a choice item to your menu.
The affiliate of Clinton County Arts Council is in the midst of rehearsals for its upcoming production of “Done to Death,” a rollicking tale of five has-been mystery writers brought together to collaborate on creating a new murder mystery television series. The play is a parody of the genre as each writer offers his/her own style in developing solutions to various murders, bringing frenzied situations and unruly results.
A total of five performances are scheduled for Friday and Saturday Feb. 20, 21 and Feb. 27 and 28 beginning at 7:30 p.m. The final presentation will be Sunday March 1 at 2:00 p.m.. Admission is $10.00 per person. Information or special arrangements may be secured by calling 989 224-2429.
The play is being directed by Beth Webb and Tom Webb and produced by Susan DeRosa. Cast members include Bob Murrell, Marci Bologh, Marsha Brook, M.D. Nelson, David Brooks and Tom Webb. Also appearing are Darryl Schmitz, Susan DeRosa, Brynn Balogh, Theresa Bousson and Brett Elstro.
Proceeds from the production will be directed to assist in the on-going renovations at the Wilson Center Auditorium.
