2 Feet for 28 Walk at Peacock Road Tree Farm
The weekend of October 1st, The Peacock Road Tree Farm will kick off their fall season with The Special Olympics “2 feet for 28” Walk/Run to benefit the Special Olympics Michigan athletes of Area 28 (Clinton County). Registration begins at 9am and the walk/run begins at 10am, on the morning of Saturday, October 1st , all are invited to participate, donations encouraged.
The Special Olympics athletes are also invited to enjoy the fun “Cowboy Games” offered at the farm, after the fundraising event. Special Olympics provides year round athletic training and competitions in a variety of Olympic-like sports, and all services are provided at no cost to the athletes and their families.

Along with the Special Olympics event, there will be an Arts and Crafts Fair through the weekend featuring 30 crafters, both Saturday and Sunday, 10am – 5pm. As always there will be horse drawn wagon rides, pumpkins, cowboy games, the petting zoo, hayrides, The Peacock Express Train, caramel apples, donuts and cider…and pig races.
