Buster
Hi! I’m Buster Brown, but I don’t live in a shoe (if you are old enough to remember that).
I’m just a nice old beagle boy who’d like to live with you. I used to be a hunter, but I got tired of all that work, I just want to be inside with my humans. They will pet me, feed me, and let me lie up on the couch where I’m comfortable.
I got house trained pretty quickly and have the run of the house when my foster mom and dad aren’t home. Mom says I’m pretty well behaved, unless food is involved. Don’t leave any people food out low where I can get it, cause I will, promise. Also, I know how to step out the back door, then come back in a moment later to get my treat.
Dad says I don’t bay as much as most beagles do, so I’m trying to remember to do it more… When I go outside, I may find an interesting scent and will bay for a minute or two, but I can’t find the rabbit or squirrel so I give up.
Mostly, I just want to be with you, and will happily lie down and fall asleep. And then I SNORE! But, I do sleep out on the couch at night, so I don’t keep you awake. I like all people, and I’m pretty good around little kids. Not sure what cats are, haven’t tried them.
If you’d like an easy, lazy, old dog that will adore you, please adopt me! For more info you can contact my foster parents at janandal@sbcglobal.net
